Hello Blog World!  I'm very excited about beginning this process with all of you!  As we begin this journey, I want to promise a few things:

1.  I promise to not merely recount the mundane details of my day.  (This will be a tough one for me.  My engineering mind tends to work only in detailed steps...)

2.  I promise to not blog about things that will make you roll your eyes or sigh out loud.

3.  I promise to (try to) be entertaining and insightful.

4.  I promise to not include really personal details.

I'm not a point where this will be something I do daily.  As a matter of fact, it will probably be a long time before I even write another post.  But hopefully, one day soon, I will make blogging an important part of my everyday duties (if you catch my drift). ;)
