Long Overdue Bump Photos and Sweet Nursery Snapshots!

I know I've promised several of you some bump photos for a couple of months now.  With Andrew being on owl shift and sound asleep when I get home, there hasn't really been an opportunity to get a photograph.  The first thing I do after work is go straight to the closet to change into comfy PJs.  And considering my PJs consist of old shorts and t-shirts, I didn't figure anyone would be excited about seeing me in that.

Luckily, we were able to find a super sweet photographer to come to Birmingham and take some pictures of the both of us in decent clothes (and some snapshots of the nursery!).   A super special thanks to Traci Talley of Traci D Photography for all the wonderful images below.  I always tell Andrew that I think I'm the least photogenic person in the world.  And I will be honest, I was a little nervous about taking photos at a time when I feel I look like a beachball who is giving birth to a mini sumo wrestler.  However, it is a testament to Traci's photography skills that I not only like the photos she took, I really, really LOVE them!

SO enough with the chit chat...Here are the photos!  And P.S., let me note that the temperature this morning was 32 degrees with wind gusts of up to 30 mph.  As evidenced below, one of us was not very happy about this, and it wasn't me or Traci.

See what I mean.  Look at that pitiful face below...

And now for some sneak peak snapshots of Amelia's nursery!  I know this is what you really scrolled all the way down to see!  I am a lucky girl because I had not one, but two talented people to help me get the nursery together.  Andrew is a master furniture and chandelier refinisher, furniture assembler, dimmer installer, and all-around handy man.  Granted, I thought we would be celebrating Amelia's first birthday before the dresser was completed, but I can't fault the guy who works 70+ hours a week.  Secondly, my amazing mother was responsible for all of the bedding, the curtains, the pillows, the blankets, and the shower curtain.  She never ceased to amaze me with how easily and perfectly she sewed all the nursery items and always replied, "Oh, it's really not that complicated."  But Amelia and I are eternally grateful for her sewing prowess, and Amelia will have sweet dreams in a crib whose bedding was so lovingly made just for her.

Hope you enjoy!  I have a few little things left to complete, but I think it's turned out perfect so far!

Some final pictures of Andrew and I in her nursery...

Big mom and dad feet and teeny tiny little booties for sweet baby feet...

And eventually, all the pictures got the best of him and Andrew said, "Can we please go get some food now?"
