Amelia had her 4 month doctor visit last Friday. She was excited to roll around on the crinkly paper.
She even experimented with a few new (and silly!) facial expressions.
But then I told her that she was going to have to get two shots.
And that made her really sad.
*Note that cowlick! I'm going to have to glue it down!
According to Dr. McCain, AJ is a healthy, happy little girl! She weighed 11 pounds and 14 ounces and was 23 and 3/4 inches long. Her weight returned to the 25th percentile, but her height dropped to the 10 to 25th percentile. However, her head was still in the 75th percentile at about 16 and 1/2 inches. She did have to get two shots and one oral vaccine, and she cried a little longer this time then she previously had. By the time we were back in car though, she was sound asleep. I don't know if she had a slight reaction to the vaccines or if she caught a touch of the cold I had (who gets a cold in June??), but she was not quite herself the next couple of days and ran a slight fever. She is since back to her normal, bubbly self though, and we are glad she is feeling better! I wasn't able to get a picture of her with her certificate because she ready to have her bottle when we got home and wasn't in the mood for Momma's camera. We won't go back to the doctor until September for her 6 month visit. Amelia is happy she has two months before any more mean ole' shots!
