Seriously. Who do I need to see about pausing time? Miss Amelia is growing up WAY too fast. She doesn't change month to month or week to week. It is literally day to day. I come home from work, and she has learned a new skill or is making a new sound. As sad as it makes me that my little baby isn't quite so little anymore, I love seeing her grow and learn!
Again, I'm a bit behind on posting her monthly photos. But when you see how cute these are this month, you will forgive me!
Prepping for the shoot!
I love my giraffe friend!
Oh that sweet face...
Look how well I can sit up!
Still not a fan of tummy time, but I'm working on it!
Be still my heart.
I love to look out the window!
Oh what a cool rattle! I wonder how it tastes...
Very yummy!
I'm so pensive. Or maybe I'm just tired of taking photos.
Crossing my feet like a little lady!
And now for the outtakes. No crying photos again this time!
Oops. Drool!
Does this pose make my cheeks look chubby?
Oh no! Leaning too far forward!
I'm a bubble blowing champion!
Huh? Did you say something Mom?
Boston...Come here and check this out!
Just relaxing...
If only my head wasn't so big!
Mmmm. Baby!
Are we done yet?
Seriously Mom. Are we done yet?
Amelia is still just the most perfect little baby! We've got her night time schedule down to an art. Bottle at 8:30, in the bed at 9:00, and up like clockwork by 6:30! She bounces back and forth from eating every 3 hours to every 4 hours during the day, but she gets 20+ ounces total. We switched to Size 2 nipples on her bottles. She is still in Size 2 diapers and wearing mostly 6 month clothes. Ever since we got her a tummy time mirror, she actually seems to enjoy being on her tummy - for all of about 5 minutes that is. Since she can now roll over, she flips herself back over as soon as she gets tired of being on her stomach. Her vocabulary of noises is increasing daily. However, we have found that she is not a fan of really deep sounds. She will stick her little bottom lip out and scrunch up her face. She is sitting up (with assistance) and loves spending time in her exersaucer, Jenny Jump Up, and Bumbo. She will start daycare next month, so we have started working on acclimating her to the Odyssey schedule. We will probably wait until then to start on solid food, since we have finally found a formula that works well. Amelia doesn't have another doctor appointment until September, so we don't have any stats. But I believe she is on track to double her birth weight by then. Amelia loves to watch Boston and Annie play, and I know she can't wait until she can chase them (although I'm sure they can!).
Dear Amelia - Each day that you grow you become more and more sweet and lovable! What would we do without you! You truly are our world, and everything we do revolves around you. We love you to the deep down depths of our heart! Our sweetest joy...

Happy almost five months sweet girl! You need to talk to your mama about coming to visit us...it's hard to say no to such a sweet face :) Loves!
